We are headquartered in Texas, with additional offices in South America. Our team of nearly 300 developers, designers, consultants, customer service agents, marketers, business development managers and many others work to develop information technology solutions for insurance companies around the world. From America’s largest independent third party administrator (TPA), to some of the largest carriers in the country, to family owned regional insurance companies, our clients are changing the world, and our team of employees build the technology to support their efforts.

JAMES BENHAM

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

James Benham is the Co-Founder and CEO of JBKnowledge, a multinational technology and consulting company that develops industry-leading software for the largest insurance companies across the globe. He is also the Co-Founder of two insurance tech products: SmartCompliance and Terra.Prior to insurance, James built multiple technology products for the construction industry. His most successful, SmartBid, became the leading construction bidding software for general contractors worldwide, culminating in an acquisition by ConstructConnect in 2018.

JIM BENHAM

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Co-Founder and Executive Vice President James T. “Jim” Benham has owned and led five companies over the past thirty two years. He brings his experience with manufacturing and service companies, along with extensive financial planning and management skills, to the JBKnowledge team. Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1965.

SEBASTIAN COSTA

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Sebastian and James met in high school computer class and co-founded JBKnowledge with the help of James’ dad in their final year of university. Sebastian has been critical to JBKnowledge’s development and growth as an organization by leading the operations behind the development, marketing, sales and support of our services and products. Sebastian received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Nicholls State University in 2001.
