A question we hear often is “Why does JBKnowledge specialize in technology for insurance and construction?” The journey into insurance technology services began when they recognized an opportunity to apply their expertise in technology to provide software, IT, consulting, and other services for the insurance industry. With the ever-changing landscape of claims management, billing, compliance, and other facets of the industry, insurance can be improved with technology – we wanted to help!
JBKnowledge entered the construction industry a few years later in 2006, when we developed the bid management software, SmartBid. Upon entering the construction industry with SmartBid, we noticed construction is slow to adopt technology and set out to navigate the obstacles stopping companies from using construction technology. JBKnowledge created The ConTech Roadshow, Annual Construction Technology Report, and weekly podcast The ConTechCrew to promote construction technology education and tech adoption to the masses. We have since added consulting services to assist companies with their technology transformation.
Our goal is to make the world a more tech-savvy place, insurance and construction are simply where we started.
