Azure Architect

Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Solution Design & Architecture

· Design end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Azure to support insurance systems including claims, policy administration, and compliance.

· Define architectural patterns, reference models, and blueprints to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient environments.

· Evaluate and select Azure services based on performance, scalability, and governance requirements.

2. Technical Vision & Leadership

· Serve as a technical leader for cloud adoption and modernization efforts.

· Lead technical discovery and assessment processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.

· Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to align with architectural goals and standards.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Strategy

· Translate business objectives into technical solutions in collaboration with client executives, IT leaders, and product stakeholders.

· Define and maintain the client’s cloud strategy roadmap aligned with overall IT and business strategies.

· Present architectural recommendations and governance frameworks to both technical and non-technical audiences.

4. Governance & Compliance

· Develop and enforce policies for cloud usage, data security, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).

· Lead architectural reviews and risk assessments to ensure best practices in high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection.
