Frontend Focus

Requirements:

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI design, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Familiar with frontend tooling such as Webpack, Vite, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.

Leadership and Communication Skills

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Proven ability to lead small teams, provide constructive feedback, and foster a learning culture.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with modern software delivery tools.

Experience and Education

5+ years of experience in frontend development.
1+ year of experience in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
Demonstrated collaboration with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

Technical and Team Leadership

Manage a small agile frontend squad focused on building scalable and high-performance web applications.
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance discussions, and support individual growth plans.
Guide the team in applying modern frontend best practices including performance, accessibility, testing, and code quality.
Actively participate in frontend development, especially on critical or high-impact features.
Foster an inclusive, safe, and collaborative work environment.

Coordination and Delivery

Collaborate with the Tech Lead and Product Manager to align execution with roadmap priorities.
Coordinate agile ceremonies: planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure quality, consistency, and on-time delivery of commitments.
Track key metrics such as velocity, bugs, and cycle time to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and strengthening the team’s technical culture.

Technical Contribution

Maintain a hands-on approach within a modern JavaScript/TypeScript environment.
Participate in code reviews and make architectural decisions.
Promote modern frontend development standards and performance optimization practices (Core Web Vitals, code splitting, lazy loading).
